Incredibly emotional story about a young mother and her 5 yr old son who survive being captive in a room.
Breath-talking realism places you inside their room and inside their minds, a stunning achievement on the heels of the true life story of a kidnapped girl who has a son in captivity, and they eventually escape and then must deal with living in the outside world.
Emotionally complex and yet the actors here do a spectacular job of comprehending the material & holding you tightly in its immediacy.
Brilliant.
