Two great performances help elevate this film, but there are questions that are never answered. Is that good? Should these questions be left to the viewer to imagine answers? I'm not sure, but a lot of that was excused for Brie Larson's phenomenal performance.
And Jacob Tremblay is just as great...and I usually hate kid actors. Some will find it boring and redundant, but there are meanings and emotions to take from it.
