Review of Room (2015) by Danburrito — 06 Feb 2016
"Room" is an incredibly powerful film with unforgettable performances from its leads. Brie Larson was amazing... Her performance was so haunting, it stays with you for days after seeing it. And as for Jacob Tremblay.
.. Wow. It perplexes me as to how he wasn't nominated for an Oscar. His was one of the best performances from a child actor I've ever seen. Emma Donaghue's screenplay was great, as was Lenny Abrahamson's direction.
I haven't read the book, so I can't compare the two, but I'm certain that fans of the book will love the movie. In short, Room is a fantastic movie that really gets you thinking.
