Review of Ronin (1998) by Christopher L — 22 May 2009
I liked it. One of the better "criminal missions" movies that I've seen, partially because it goes on passed the initial "oh no, things went wrong and we have to fix it" moment. There's a lot that's really good in this. Good characters, just about all of them, including Sean Bean as the wanna-be tough guy.
Also, this really is the best car-chase scene I can remember seeing in a movie.
The movie leaves you with an odd feeling, perhaps half-satisfied, but it prepares you for this, and this is part of its charm. Very well done.
