Review of Ronin (1998) by Thomas P — 12 Feb 2012
One of the most underrated action films in the last 20 years. This film also had in my opinion the best car chase scene ever in cinematic history, including Bullitt, Smokey and the Bandit, and Vanishing Point, among others.
Well directed by John Frankenheimer although this was much different from the original Manchurian Candidate (his best directing role). Robert DeNiro was OK but it was Jonathan Pryce and Stellan Starsgaard who stole every scene they were in, especially at the end.
Great finish and solid acting by the entire cast.
