Review of Romeo and Juliet (2014) by Yehudis K — 27 Jul 2014

I've seen it twice on Broadway. I love the fact that the show is timeless, like Shakespeare. There's a motorcycle but the wall of love and no guns. I love that it's a black family rivaled up against a white family, although that is not the reason for the feud.

I like how it's adapted to make the lovers older, more intelligent. It's worthy of being released in DVD for the general public, but those who do not see it live miss the ultimate theater experience.
