Review of Romeo and Juliet (1968) by John S — 04 May 2010
This is 100% better than the 90's Baz Luhrmann version, although really it's like comparing apples and oranges. You really have to watch this one to appreciate the other. It's a beautiful film, directed by an Italian Shakespearian director (Franco Zeffirelli) & just an altogether beautiful movie, Elizabethan English or no.
