Review of Romeo and Juliet (1968) by Cameron J — 20 Dec 2010
A classic adaptation of a classic tale, Zepherelli's "Romeo and Juliet" holds extremely good acting, fairy good directing, strong characters, a compelling story and so on. However, as the film progresses, it grows less and less seriousness in some major events and the characters heavily weaken.
With this problem, we've underdevelopment, exaggeration, inappropriate humor, carrying on, etc. None the less, the film is still a very notable work of art.
