A gifted chocolate-maker named Angelique gets employed with a nearly bankrupt chocolate factory owner named Jean-Rene. Both being shy and, say, strange they carefully advance towards each other getting into awkward and funny situations on the way.
The film is very careful in reproducing the neurotic way of thinking. Just because of the chocolate theme, there are references to Chocolat (2000).
