Unsuccessful stab at doing something different, and it fails miserably. It's an abrasive series of vignettes that are stupid rather than creative. Absurd and an embarassment to all involved. Kate Winslet provides the only breath of fresh air.
Director John Turturro direction is so bad - it's sloppy and scattered it looks like he just gathered a bunch of friends and relatives one night and said "let's make a stupid musical".
