Review of Roman Holiday (1953) by Nicholas L — 01 May 2010
Wonderful.
Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck are the perfect screen couple in this superbly written story about an escapade or "holiday" in the heart of Rome. It shows us that just one day -- like no other -- of fun, adventure, liberty, love, and thrills, can make all the difference in one's life. Days like these are unforgettable, like the movie itself.
(Query: Has Roman Holiday greatly influenced Lost in Translation?).
