Review of Roma (2018) by William G — 17 Dec 2018
If you're still not convinced that B&W is the best -- not used just for effect. Think back to a movie like "Creature From The Black Lagoon" -- fun C+/B movie with great B&W cinematography.
Add a human story handled so beautifully by a director who can convey volume's with a simple (unaffected) movement of the camera -- not just another closeup. Reminds me of some early Italian directors -- Fellini without the costumes.
Chaos vs a normal day -- so whats normal anymore?
