Review of Rollerball (2002) by John A — 09 Jun 2011
The Star Player Of A Future Sport, Is Trying To Be Forced Out By The Corporate Company Which Own The Sport. Based In 2018, Where The World Is Run By Many Companies, One Company Owns Everything You See On TV & Read In The Newspapers, & Own The Worldwide Sport Of Rollerball. Rollerball Is An Extremely Violent Sport, Which Is A Cross Between American Football, Hockey, Baseball & Motocross. The Game Features A Solid Steel Ball Which Each Team Must Try To Catch & Then Score.
Visionary For It's Time & It's Not Far Off, With The Way The World Is Going Today With Big Corporate Companies And A Growing Interest In Violence The Film Suits Today's World Much Better Than It Did In 1975. Extremely Violent For The 70's Era, But Is Dated By Today's Standards Rollerball Still Stands Up As A Great Piece Of Cinema & Is Certainly Worth A Watch, No CGI, All The Stunts Are Real As Well As Some Of The Violence To. Certainly Worth A Watch.
