Cash is king.

Jonathan Cross and Marcus Ridley are a couple United States athletes who never made the big time. A new sport has been building up steam overseas and they have an opportunity to become the league's stars. They take the money and head overseas. What they find is a corrupt league that may end their lives if they are not careful.

"Is it true your mother is a crack whore?".

John McTiernan, director of Predator, Die Hard, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Hunt for Red October, Medicine Man, Last Action Hero, Die Hard: With a Vengeance, The 13th Warrior, and Basic, delivers Rollerball. The storyline for this picture is awful and a bit awkward at times. The acting was pathetic and on par with the film's storyline. The cast includes Jean Reno, Chris Klein, LL Cool J, and Rebecca, Romijin.

"Do you have your armadillo on?".

Rollerball is currently airing on Showtime and I captured this movie while flicking through the channels this morning. I have always enjoyed Jean Reno and decided to give this movie a shot. Unfortunately, this movie is a train wreck. The character deliver, the acting, and the depiction of the European culture were all awful. The action scenes were odd and why were motorcycles involved in this sport at all? Skip this disaster.

"Life is full of little disappointments.".

Grade: D-.
