Review of Rollerball (2002) by Simon S — 07 Mar 2008
Creepy film. World run by corporations, no individual is greater than the game/corporation, etc. Sure, they had amusing visions of the future in the 70s (leisure suits! tacky fonts! giant tube tv's everywhere!) but the violence and action of the rollerballs games were captured perfectly.
I yearn for the day that present movie editors realise that you don't need to chop and change a scene 10 times a second like a child on ritalin.
