Review of Rollerball (2002) by Evan D — 15 Oct 2012
Though the plot is a bit of a mess, the original Rollerball is a compelling mess with kick-ass sport sequences and solid acting. However, the film does have important things to say about how us as humans find violence entertaining, as well as having some of the usual anti-corporation messages that many sci-fi films still have to this day.
Overall, I enjoyed Rollerball, and I think it is an underrated film.
