Review of Roll Bounce (2005) by Jon D — 27 May 2011
See... in movies like 'Sister Act 2' or 'School of Rock' you tend to root for the underdogs because you see them practicing really hard to win the competition all throughout the movie. However in this movie, you barely even see these guys practicing their moves. Most of the time they were just goofing off or dealing with personal issues.
This was a movie where I wanted the underdogs to lose because they deserve to lose, and I'm glad they did. One star for justice has been served.
