Review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) by Michael L — 20 May 2018

This movie has a Star Wars feel into it and delivers a coherent new story. I enjoyed the fact that it respects the source material and characters, even bringing some surprises to the screen. The characters aren't as deep as you'd hope but one really got to give them that since it's a standalone film and time is limited.

The most disappointing thing was the Michael Giacchino's soundtrack. I was looking forward to Alexandre Desplat's take on Star Wars and Giacchino's OST felt a bit rushed.
