Review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) by Aiden R — 20 Mar 2017
"Rogue One" is the redemption of Disney after the disappointment that was The Force Awakens.
Although with poorly developed characters at the beginning, a mediocre and boring first arc of the plot, the film takes a totally interesting turn, putting us fully into the heart of the Rebel Alliance and giving a rapid but effective development to the characters and relationships managed, giving finally that realistic atmosphere of war that was trying to show from the beginning of the film.
With brilliant special effects and scenes with the necessary tension the film is a mix of action, excitement and nostalgia that left me with a great taste.
Maybe not the best Star Wars, but one of the best.
Finally highlighted the great work of Ben Mendelsohn to play Orson Krennic, who ended up being my favorite character in the entire film.
