The second Star Wars movie since Disney bought the franchise, but the first of the sidevent story movies. Rogue One sets the bar for all other Star Wars story movies. The story was interesting and helped explain Episode IV.
Although the ending was bittersweet, it pulled the story intothe (current) cannon very well.
