Review of Rogue (2007) by Bret K — 18 Aug 2008
After seeing Wolf Creek, I was really anticipating what Greg McLean would do, as he is a very talented filmmaker. The movie gets a slow start, but once it gets going, it really rules. The suspense is genuine and doesn't really rely on cheap tricks to scare the audience.
It's more akin to Jaws than your average "Giant Killer _____" movie. It's a shame that other killer croc movie failed and ruined this movie's chance of getting a theatrical run.
