Review of Rogue (2007) by Kari K — 07 Jan 2010
Decent, yet mostly typical, crocodile creature-feature, much stronger in the first half than the second. Directed by Greg Mclean, the guy behind Wolf Creek, this also focuses heavily on visuals and cinematography, representing the Northern Territories beautifully (would look amazing in Blu-Ray).
The first half is really strong, building suspense well without actually seeing the beast. However, it is in the second half, after seeing the croc, that the movie falls back into the pack typical of the genre.
