Review of Roger Dodger (2002) by Zakk W — 03 Jul 2007
This movie is simply one of the best movies I have ever seen. I love it because it portrays this deeply flawed character, who talks to everyone like he's an all-knowing god. All the while, he's being played by an older female boss and he shows his bad judgement in handling his nephew who has shown up at his doorstep from nowhere.
Watch it and watch it again, because it has some of the cleverest dialogue you will see in any movie, anywhere. Campbell Scott is the jerk you want to be for a weekend and the uncle you wish you had when you were 12.
