The part that hits me the most is when the guy is shooting baskets at the minimum security mental institution. When the Beach Boys song starts, ouch.
The hardest part about that movie for me is that the only reason I wasn't in that movie was geography. If I wasn't born where I was, and my parents hadn't dragged me to California, I would have been in that hospital. No kidding.
Anyway, I think life is hard to understand. You are taught to play fair, be a good sport, give the other guy a chance, and then you aren't given any chances, no one plays fair, and unless you cheat, you don't get anywhere. See, I told you I would be in that hospital.
This movie is so sad, I swear it is hard to watch, but you really gotta watch it.
