Review of Roger & Me (1989) by Eoin H — 03 Jan 2008
The beginning of the Michael Moore phenomenon with some interesting bio information about the beginning of the man himself.
This is a good and timely documentary let down by a lack of focus. What is the rabbit lady doing here? She is from an entirely different documentary. A documentary where showing a furry rabbit killed by mallet makes sense. Also. Other than being from Flint, one must wonder why are we given so much material of Pat Boone.
Let it never be said that Moore is not marketing savvy. To have a seat reserved in EVERY cinema where this film played was very clever.
