Review of Roger & Me (1989) by Kenneth H — 21 Apr 2010
A somber, serious and depressing movie, especially in contrast to Michael Moore's later films. Moore examines the devastation brought on to Flint, Michigan and mostly stays off the camera, letting the stories speak for themselves.
This is probably the simplest and most serious of Moore's films (and much more of a documentary than his later films) and it really works, though it does get slow at times.
