Review of Rodan (1956) by Trent C — 02 Jan 2009
One of the first examples of a colour giant monster movie and it is a very good one at that. It has some excellent set pieces, special effects and music plus some very moody and creepy horror type scenes.
If it falls short anywhere it is in the human narrative but it is never dull. The fact that Rodan is not the only monster or example of his species in the film is also a refreshing idea.
