Review of Rocky III (1982) by Jared C — 08 Aug 2010
This is my favorite Rocky film out of all the Rocky films. One and Two are good to establish Sylvester Stallone in his best acting to begin with. But this one not only has Stallone acting as good as he can, the opening song to the film really blows you away.
And what better way for Rocky to meet his match then to have loud mouth and really agro guy Mr.T against him playing Clubber Lang. While Rocky knockouts a couple of challengers, Mr.T comes in with brute force knocking Rocky on his touche.
Not only is it a good action sport flick,but it also has a real good emotional journey that we have not seen Rocky face before and to see him team up with Apollo is not expected. This film definetley has the Eye of the Tiger to it.
