Review of Rocky II (1979) by Adam H — 28 Apr 2010
Sylvester Stallone takes on the role of director and lead role in this sequel to the original blockbuster. This is a really solid sequel Burgess Meredith, Burt Young among others all return and again produce fine preformances.
The highlight is the rematch between Rocky and Apollo Creed. Rocky II was the highest grossing movie sequel until The Empire Strikes Back was released. If you loved Rocky then you just have to see this sequel.
