Review of Rocky II (1979) by Eoin H — 07 Aug 2009
Not much to this movie. Rocky firstly decides to retire from fighting only to be goaded into rematch with Carl 'Action Jackson' Weather's Apollo Creed. Then they fight. We see 30 minutes of shamelessly badly crafted film boxing. And against all odds Rocky wins. Cue credits.
That said. This is the Rocky with the run up the steps in Philly. And the 'Yo Adrian'. And the one where they get a 'little bit married'.
