Review of Rocky II (1979) by Chris A — 25 Jun 2012
Great. Carl Weathers, as Apollo Creed, was an exceptional co-star in these films. He was Rocky's nemesis initially, but later, became his friend. My favorite scene of this Rocky was when Rocky was in the hospital and he asked Apollo if he had given him his best effort in fighting him? Apollo said yes, and I think at that point, Rocky knew that he had earned Apollo's respect.
