Review of Rocky (1976) by Shane T — 16 Dec 2015
When I came to watch this film I wanted to see boxing! And apart from the beginning and the end there isn't any! However the fight with Apollo Creed at the end is superb. Stallone is great as Rocky and will always be known as Rocky Balboa no matter what! There is some iconic shots in this movie (Balboa standing on the top of the stairs celebrating in front of Philadelphia) the music is iconic and infectious as well, which is when the movie really starts to pick up pace.
