This is not a masterpiece by any means but it is what it is. I think I know what it is, but it's always hard to tell what something actually is.. you know? RockNRolla is a rough and bumpy joy ride with some faults that I did not find hard to overlook.

It's funny, but it's got a classic gangster movie style, so it's sort of a new twist on the subject matter. The cast includes Tom Wilkensen who plays a very strange character, and boy does he do it well, He was actually hard to recognize at first because I am so used to seeing him play Americans.

Gerard Butler is underrated, his performance is humorously serious. Tom Hardy is also underrated and I wish he would do more films, his performance is full of humor. Mark Strong, (who could be Andy Garcia's twin) really worked as a gangster.

I saw him in Sherlock Holmes, another really good Guy Ritchie film, I guess I just did not picture him in this sort of role, but he pulls it off, and he was the most interesting character to watch. Thandie Newton is sort of cool and slick with the character.

Toby Kebbell is really funny as well, sorry if I spelled your name wrong. RocknRolla is sort of a film that makes fun of the classic gangster movies by adding in some crazy twists and turns. It really works well, and I bet Ritchie was very happy watching it all come together.
