Review of RocknRolla (2008) by Nathan K — 15 Aug 2011
The film rolls out in typical Guy Ritchie fashion, but as with all of his others you really have to pay attention if you want to maintain a firm handle on just what the hell is going on. This time around, it's not quite worth it.
Ritchie goes slightly overboard with his experimentation of effects and angles, and though Gerard Butler makes for a funny lead he's just not nearly as captivating as Brad Pitt, Jason Statham or Robert Downey Jr.
You'd probably be better off watching Snatch again.
