Review of Rocketship X-M (1950) by Al M — 06 Feb 2012
One of the earliest in a seemingly endless series of American sci-fi films of the 1950s, Rocketship X-M is humorous (as it most mediocre 50s sci-fi fare), but it never really manages to be very good except for the few minutes that the crew spend on Mars.
These scenes are somewhat interesting, but the rest of the film is mostly boring if not downright idiotic. I am a huge fan of 50s sci-fi, and Rocketship X-M ranks low on the list in my book.
