What Detroit Rock City was for Kiss, only with a band that actually rocks, even harder than portrayed. Purely fun...anyone that tries to dissect it for its cinematic content and well-wrought drama and acting is completely missing the point. This IS a classic film, specifically because at the time, the Ramones were very well unknown (oh, the the irony...XD). The fact that some of the more ridiculous rumors about the band are actually perpetuatedby the film is beyond funny, too.
