Review of Rock-A-Doodle (1991) by Hugo F — 05 Jul 2008
Don Bluth might touch pen to paper and bring the sun up. I see no one saw past the stylizations of these particular character creations. I do not remember this being a problem of interest for this film Now, it is hard to put animated features into perspective without some background on the people who bring them to life.
Especially if audiences only remember them as passing fads or flicks, when in reality, there may be great and unique work to discover. I am not saying this is on par with The Rescuers, but like any artist, each and all have their own style and that style changes under different circumstances.
I believe that is the case here.
