The movie is as cheap as it looks. I agree with the MST3K characters that Ro-man the robot monster is what if Raymond Burr played Dr. Zaius. Not to mention it's single location filming spot makes it hard to imply that a post apocolypics has occured.
Let us not forget the random Dinosaur footage which distances this film from being a classic. But more as a poor cinema classic. If you're looking for a Sci-Fi film that looks super cheap. Then Robot Monster is the right choice for that category.
