Review of RoboCop (2014) by Shannon S — 16 Aug 2014

To be honest, I loved the original Robocop, I did not come into the remake with very high expectations. Since this was by the same company that made the mess of a remake Total Recall back in 2011, I was worried that they were gonna mess it up.

I actually really like the new Robocop, the visuals are great, the acting is mostly very good, the action scenes are very worthy. The remake is pretty different, the bio is changed, the characters are changed, the color of his suit has changed (for most of the movie), really just a lot has changed.

Thankfully the new movie was put into the right hands, with a original script that adds a lot to the original while paying tribute, and very smart directing thanks to Jose Padiha, who adds human emotion to the film.
