Review of RoboCop (2014) by Johnathan P — 01 Sep 2014

A solid, sturdy and well made reboot that doesn't try to improve on the original but is an up to date reimagining which tackles of few issues of present times! Joel Kinnamen puts in a great lead performance, making Alex Murphy very much his own character and not just a mirror image of Peter Weller's iconic role.

While it could've done with that 18 cert to give it more edge, this new version plays like more of a set up for hopefully a more full on sequel! Having said that it does set things up rather well and left me with the taste for more!
