Review of RoboCop 2 (1990) by Eric R — 05 Jan 2009
The Machine that handles law breakers in a flash with attitude and his trusty pistol is back in RoboCop 2. Yep Alex.Murphy or a.k.a. RoboCop is busting criminals in this 1990 movie. You know like I said with the first RoboCop I respect this movie because I grew up watching it.
Yeah this one is not as good as the first film. In alot of ways its the same theme and premise for one those goofy commircials and advertisements make thier way into the movie because it worked the first time around.
That was the same trick they used on Predator 2. what I am saying is the Thermal Vision like that it was the fake advertisements for humor in Robocop 2. Let's move onto the bad guys the central villian is a man named Kane.
He is sortive a violent hippie and picture him on stronger drugs. He is the leader of people that crave the drug Nuke as they call it. Later on he gets an upgrade to a violent and destructive Robot and that will be Robocops replacement RoboCop 2 as they call it.
But it goes wrong and OCP is in trouble. But it's not a bad movie but after the first half of the film it just drags a little bit thats one thing I did not like. I am not so hard on the movie because like I said before I grew up with the movie.
