Review of RoboCop 2 (1990) by Jan C — 12 Jan 2010

Robocop 2 has its fair share of problems, but its sharp and visually quite interesting. There are some inspired moments that deserve mention as they are as good as anything from the first movie... including the visit from murphys wife when she is told by robocop "You husband is dead.

This is in his honor", some stunning set peices andplenty of B-movie, explotation style violence brings part two up to speed... Part two isn't as clever as the first, nor as on the money in terms of the satire but its still an underlooked and worthy sequel.
