As we approach the launch of a new RoboCop, let us remember how good the original was. It spawned a million and one horrible sequels but the original was an original submission to the sci-fi genre with a dark Bladerunneresque moodiness aiding an underlying sense of humanity brought forward by a mechanical warrior.
