Review of Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) by Christopher B — 30 May 2013
Better than I had expected. This was made two years after the Roberts/Costner flick - and might have been better if Brooks had skewered the legend and not a specific movie. Sir Patrick carries a Connery Brogue.
.. but this is a big screen effort not SNL, it doesn't translate well. Elwes seems to be more of a Reiner kind of actor. One bright spot was Dick van Patten - spot on!
