Not a great movie, but entertaining and fun. The filmmakers did a decent job of "reimagining" the myth and doing some goofy things with it - making the crusade battle sequences in the style of modern warfare movies, designing the costumes in an anachronistic way, doing a citizen uprising in the style of an "antifa vs police" riot. They also added some twists and turns to the story (the ending was unexpected for me, but also slightly frustrating), which made it not be completely predictable.

All in all, it's a good and entertaining movie worth seeing, especially for Ben Mendelsohn's scenery chewing, just don't expect something groundbreaking.
