Review of Robin Hood (2009) by Alexander F — 08 Aug 2009
Once a guilty pleasure when this movie was 1st released is now a movie difficult to watch. Besides several movie mistakes and blunders, the story is inaccurate and Costner is the worst Robin Hood EVER! Where is the english accent??? Even Cary Elwes made a better Robin Hood in the comedy spoof "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" who might I add bears a strong resemblence to Errol Flynn who is best Robin Hood I've seen.
Nice Cameo at the end though & Alan Rickman delivers a great comedic perfomance of overacting which I loved! "Locksley! I'll carve your heart out with a spoon!" "Why a spoon cousin? Why not an axe?" "Cause it's dull you twit! It'll hurt more!" Best line of that year methinks!
