Review of Robin Hood (2009) by Brad S — 13 Nov 2016
I had wanted to watch this film again for ages, I hadn't seen it since it first came to home video, and now I kind of regret it. It wasn't as good as I remembered it. I knew I liked Alan Rickman in it and still was a joy to watch him, and I love Morgan Freeman and his performance held-up.
The problem was with Costner and the direction, I found both to be underwhelming. Not a great film by any means, but I got enough joy our of watching Rickman and Freeman to give it a passing mark, but I can't recommend it.
