Review of Robin and Marian (1976) by Philip P — 30 May 2008
Unusual take on the Robin Hood story with a sympathetic eye for the Sheriff of Nottingham (superbly played, as ever, by Robert Shaw). Very poignant ending and although Hepburn and Connery get top billing it is Shaw, Richard Harris and Nicol Williamson who steal the film.
