Review of Road to Perdition (2002) by Mark Q — 02 Jan 2011
A really underappreciated film due to its quite predictable plot but that's not the hook. This is a beautifully shot, terrifically acted, superbly paced gangster film that's as much about contrasting father-son relationships as it is about the mob.
It also features the last on-screen performance of the great Paul Newman!!! A simple but emotional, gripping & perfectly executed film.
