This is a "B+"(89 marks) movie. I didn't see it in yr2002 and watched the Blue-ray version tonight. The only word I can think of this movie is Destiny. You choose the kind of life you live and you pay for it, as agreed to, when things turn to the bad side.
No one is free except the one who is kept outside and survives at the end after all the prices are paid for by blood.? P.S: "Lawless" is a more enjoyable gangster movie than this one, but Road to Perdition is a darker and deeper movie.
